Meet Liv

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

C.S. Lewis

This pretty much sums me up. Bookworm and perpetual tea drinker. Often compared to Alice in Wonderland when I was growing-up, on account of the ribbons in my hair and tendency to daydream. Apart from outgrowing the ribbons, not much has changed.

Welcome to Liv Between the Lines: a blog about my adventures in reading and all things bookish.

I am a twenty-something Literature grad with a BA from Canterbury and an MA I studied for in Paris – going to France to study English Lit, weird I know. Made sense at the time.

I love to read. Anything from the classics to contemporary fiction, with some feminist non-fiction thrown in and a little bit of poetry too.

I also love going to the theatre, art galleries and visiting new cities.

Blogging is something I’ve always wanted to try. I love to write, and I love talking about all the interesting books I’m reading.

So, here goes nothing. My name is Liv, and here is my little corner of the internet all about living and reading between the lines.
